Local time on February 8th ,2017 Spring Festival party was held at the Amissah-Author Language Center Auditorium in Confucius Institute of University of Cape Coast. The leader of UCC 、the CIUCC—UPSHS(University Practice Senior High School) leaders and UCC students totaling more than 200 people attended the Spring Festival party. A number of mainstream media in Ghana and the University of Cape Coast’s campus media was on-site coverage on the Spring Festival party. 
2017 coincided with the Lunar New Year in China, but also the University of Cape Coast Confucius Institute set up the first anniversary of the day. In order to let more people understand the Chinese traditional culture, the Chinese director professor Hu Liangcai with humorous words and beautiful pictures to the audience to do a little Chinese culture on the Lunar New Year. In the middle of the lecture , professor Hu Liangcai taught the Chinese New Year lucky words became the climax of the lecture, the audience have shown great enthusiasm for learning Chinese. 
After the Spring Festival cultural lecture, Confucius Institute students performed the program, and we also invited the audience to experience the "chopsticks" culture, the audience with chopsticks folder black beans game attracted bursts of laughter. The audience on stage to foreign and Chinese Director Dean says the Chinese New Year lucky words, and ended in "New Year red packet" cultural experience activities. The Spring Festival party was planned by the only three Chinese staff of the Confucius Institute at the University of Cape Coast, It is also the first event of the University of Cape Coast Confucius Institute in 2017. In the party,many of the audience have a certain understanding about the Chinese and Chinese culture, after the meeting many of the audience came to the Confucius Institute office to register Chinese and Chinese culture courses. Looking ahead 2017, we believe that the young Confucius Institute of University of Cape Coast will develop better.
