On 28th February 2023, A delegation from Marco Polo Tiles Ghana, a leading Chinese enterprise specializing in household sanitary ware, paid a visit to the Confucius Institute at the University Cape Coast (CIUCC).
The meeting was hosted by the China Director, Prof. OU Yamei, who warmly welcomed the Marco Polo Tiles Ghana delegation and gave a brief introduction to CIUCC. She spoke about the institute’s commitment to discovering and nurturing talents. Prof. OU highlighted the crucial role that industry plays in achieving this goal, and emphasized that the institute would continue to recommend brilliant graduates to these companies. She invited Marco Polo Tiles Ghana to take advantage of the upcoming job fair scheduled for the 21st to the 25th of March 2023 and expressed her enthusiasm for strengthening the relationship between the institute and the company.
During the meeting, the delegation from Marco Polo Tiles Ghana also expressed their interest in collaborating with CIUCC, citing graduates such as Chinese translators as being valuable to their company. The delegation extended an invitation to the institute to visit their company and explore potential opportunities for collaboration. They also expressed their willingness to organize cultural lectures with the institute, highlighting their commitment to fostering cultural exchange and diversity.
