The Confucius Institute at the University of Cape Coast (CIUCC), on the 26th of March 2022, successfully organised HSK and HSKK Examinations for the year 2022. Seventy-five candidates participated in HSK levels 1 to 5 Examinations. Thirty-five candidates participated in HSKK Examinations its quest to ensure that the examination was successful, the Confucius Institute prepared adequately before, during and after the examination. The Institute also organised tutorials and mock exams for the students prior to the exams in order to help them attain good examination scores.

To ensure the safety of students, the Confucius Institute put in place some measures to help prevent and control the spread of COVID-19 during the exams. Thus, all staff of CIUCC and students adhered strictly to COVID-19 rules and regulations. Candidates were allowed to enter the examination centre only after they had followed the Covid-19 rules. The teachers distributed the examination admission tickets and guided the candidates to fill in the necessary information required for the examination.

The acquisition of HSK Examination certificates increases students’ chances of getting scholarships to study in China and also apply for jobs. The Institute will continue to improve the examination process and system, and further enhance the efficiency and quality of its examinations.
