On 19th May, 2020, Hunan City University, made a donation of anti-epidemic items to University of Cape Coast. The items included protective clothings and 1000 pieces of surgical nose masks to assist the University in carrying out anti-epidemic work.

In the wake of the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus in China, the Chinese teachers with their students at the Confucius Institute at University of Cape Coast made videos to show solidarity to China. A kind gesture stretched to our sister country, but it went a long way as the President of Hunan City University “we took comfort from the message sent to us and we can proudly say, we were ignited to do more to curb this outbreak”
